DMCA Policy

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and the procedures for filing a claim of copyright infringement on the The Geometry DSH website (hereinafter “the Website”) are the subject of this page. We respect the intellectual property rights of others and abide by the DMCA to safeguard copyright holders. Please follow the guidelines below to submit a DMCA notice if you believe that your intellectual work has been infringed on the Website.

DMCA Notification Procedure

To send us a DMCA notification, please provide us with the following information in writing:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
  2. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit the service provider to locate the material.
  3. Information reasonably sufficient to permit the service provider to contact the complaining party, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an electronic mail address at which the complaining party may be contacted.
  4. A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  6. The electronic or physical signature of the copyright owner or of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest.

Counter Notification Procedure

You may submit a counter-notification if you believe that content you have contributed to the Website has been improperly removed or restricted. To submit a counter-notification, please submit the following information in writing:

  1. Clearly indicate the disabled or removed content, along with where on the website it was located before it was disabled or removed.
  2. Provide us with your contact information: You must include your full name, postal address, telephone number, and email.
  3. Include a statement that you have a good faith belief that the removal or unusability of the material was due to mistake or misidentification.
  4. Include a sworn statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court over the judicial district in which your address is located or, if your address is outside of the United States, over any judicial district in which the website may be located. Include the fact that you will accept service from the sender of the DMCA notice or a representative of the sender.
  5. Digital Signature: By entering your full legal name, you must electronically sign the counter-notification.

Repeat Offenders

The Geometry DSH website has a policy of terminating the accounts of users who are repeat infringers when the situation requires it.
